T'Marra's Ibizan Hounds maintains a limited kennel on eight fenced acres that is used as a daily run for the dogs. The
kennel is located in Benton, IL and is proudly owned and operated by Pam Mutchek.  Pam has been involved with dogs
for 24 years and got her start doing Schutzhund with a Rottweiler named Fergy.  Eventually, she took Fergy to the AKC
Obedience ring.  There, Fergy received CD in 3 shows with one first place in the Novice A, although Fergy was not a
show-quality Rottweiler.

Pam's interests broadened to include the Belgian Sheepdog in her canine pursuit.  Over the next several years, she
showed in both Obedience and Conformation with Belgians and Rottweilers.  She has placed AKC championships on
seven Belgians, several of which won from the Bred By Exhibitor Class. Pam has also obtained several CD's.  With the
over breeding of Rotts and the inter-club problems with Belgians, she started to look for a new breed - one with a little
less hair (her wrist had just about had it!).

A friend of hers who she talked with and attended shows with had an Ibizan Hound.  The versatility of the breed and
their minimal health problems made them a prime candidate. But, she just had to have a little more hair! Appropriately,
the choice to begin working with wire-coat Ibizans was made.

Pam has been training and breeding Ibizans for more than seven years and has finished six Ibizans with AKC
Championships.  Several of her dogs are excellent on the Lure Course; one of which has recorded several Best in
Fields at Lure Trials.

Given her excellent success and formidable blood-lines of her Ibizans, she is using her foundation bitches to create an
outstanding wire kennel.  Both of these bitches are Champions with fun personalities, exceptional confirmation, and
excellent health. While 2007 has been a great year for the kennel, Pam looks forward to a new litter in 2008.  Given
there will be an up-coming litter she is very excited to be working with a handful of new and current owners during the
next several years.  Ibizans are great ambassadors and fun additions to the right owners. So here's to a bright future!
